I would own the greatest castle if I were not so simple of a man

I would wear the most expensive mode if I were not so disgusted by the envy of others

I would immerse myself in the wonderment of my Mother’s nature if others had not defiled it so

I would accumulate treasure and wealth beyond measure if it were not so corrupted by the souls of the foolish

I would navigate all the tranquil seas of this world if they had not been so polluted by ignorance

I would be enslaved by Aphrodite’s passion if it had not been reduced to vanity and trinkets of illusion by Madmen

I would save Nation and World from its insecure, parochial, vindictive, paranoid un-enlightenment consuming conscience and soul in its journey into the abyss if it were not for the fact that I simply don’t care

For what purpose then beautiful and enigmatic Creation, is it to desire, to live and then to perish?

In Athena’s name I beseech thee for Solomonic wisdom!

I invoke Descartes’ pondering, “I Think Therefore I AM” but what meaning holds this in elucidation in purity and truth of a living death where to live evokes no passion or purpose?

Am I ugly for feeling, or for not feeling?

And…if I may ask, or you ugly like me so that I am not alone?

AVENEGERS ASSEMBLE! A Review of Avengers Endgame – No Spoilers

Hello all. I hope that you will enjoy this as I step out from my normal style of blogging to generate this review. It is not a complete break from my usual as “Lifemeaning4u” deals with mediations on aspects of life and one’s place in it. This is a growth opportunity for me to present this film review of “Marvels Avengers: End game”. There will be absolutely NO SPOILERS so don’t be concerned and I hope you will like it.

Now whether you are a fan of the superhero genre of films are not, you should like this film or shall I say “love it!” You would be in a great position if you have seen the previous Avengers’ movies as well as it’s associated films as they literally refer back to them. As you may know from the last Avengers film, the collection of all the heroes were utterly defeated by the villain Thanos and the population of the universe itself was virtually halved by the snap of his fingers as well as the use of the six infinity stones he possessed. As the film opens, the remaining heroes try to assemble to go after him with the assistance of the most recent addition to the Marvel Universe films, Captain Marvel. Of course the plan is to try and bring back their friends and associates and to exact a little payback in the process.

Suffice it to say, Thanos is a hard kill so you can expect that he will have a significant presence is this film. One aspect of the movie that carried it along was its reliance on humor and characters that were, well, out of character. Rocket of the Guardians of the Galaxy (the racoon) is central to this along with a few others that will make it well worth the price of your admission ticket. Another element of this film that will keep you in tune is the humanity of the characters that were left behind and how they deal with the loss of their loved ones and moving on with life. I found that quite endearing and I firmly believe that is why Marvel has been so successful with their films as opposed to the other comic book universe of movies. You really feel the connectedness of the characters to one another and those in their personal lives.

The film moves at a pretty good pace and you have virtually no time to rest much less get bored. The Avengers’ rich history of past films are used to further the dynamic of this one which is why I have stated earlier that you will feel well comfortable if you have seen them over the past several years. I was highly impressed as I have always been with the Avengers films to include an enormous amount of its heroes together without making you feel overwhelmed by their presence or the action taking place…and there WILL BE A LOT OF ACTION! In fact, they make you hungry for more action, more battles and more of the hero/villain confrontations. Usually this is very difficult to do as you may recall in some of the past Marvel films like Spiderman 3 where multiple villains are introduced and you feel inundated by all of the action going on. The same was felt in some of the D.C. universe of films with multiple heroes and villains present. Marvel has found a unique way of presenting so many at one time in a very cohesive way. Character relationships and how they evolve has been key to this success.

Those who see this film will not be disappointed at all as you will get more than what you are hoping for. Unfortunately we do say goodbye to a few of the central characters and there are some teary-eyed moments especially if you have bonded with them over the years. I do feel that there departure will open the door to more dimensions of the Marvel Universe and bring more interest to the superhero genre of movies. In any case, prepare yourself to run through a plethora of emotions and be amused, enthralled, excited, saddened and overall pleased with this film and your trip to the theatre with this one. Kudos for a job well done Marvel!

Are You Capable of Being True To Yourself?

“This Above All, To Thine Own Self Be True” – states Polonius in Hamlet. It is sound advice to be sure but unfortunately, goes unheeded by many. Far too many for far too long throughout the ages have succumb to the will of others not understanding who they really are opting instead to be who or what others desire them to be. In this instance, there is “no truth” but only a shallow image projected before us that gives no rest serving only to diminish the reality formed around us into an increasing, self-delusional reverie. How then, has this become the standard by which one finds an easier world in which to reside?

I believe the need for acceptance outweighs truth for most. The desire to be loved and to a certain degree deified has by-passed all logical and rational reasoning. Why else would being the wealthiest; having the most expensive car and residence; wearing the most stylish clothes; being in the company of the best looking companion; having the most social media followers or doing things for others that is contradictory to ones true nature or desire mean so much? Human Beings are by nature social creatures and just being part of something is not enough for most. One must “stand out and be noticed”. To be “ordinary” is unacceptable by our groomed nature if not by design. Let’s face it, we are programmed daily to be more than ordinary and usually for a tidy price. There is always someone profiting from our desire to be noticed or glorified and the only reason they are so successful is because we surrender who we are to them. We surrender our truth.

There is an enormous amount of growth and maturation awaiting the Human Race and it all begins with being true to ourselves. So I say to everyone, “This above all, To thine own self be true!”.

New Horizons

There in the distance lies evidence of the great force of the wind in the sails that went previously unnoticed

There just beyond the mountain peak, rays of sun-light illuminate hidden valley pathways leading to cavernous indentations of the landscape before unseen

At my side, diligently standing but never before appreciated remains friend, comforter and confidant always taken for granted

Now the death of an old life is at hand and new horizons await. That which had been muzzled by ignorance and vanity is finally released from the blast of Gabriel’s Trumpet

I shook with fear and then cried tears of joy as I came to understand the true nature of the journey is in each step taken and not the journey’s end

Dark clouds approach foreboding the Devil’s Day

It might as well be water because it’s just as thin contrary to what most will say

For a score I’ve been tormented by lost souls

And lets not forget that poor seed growing in the weeds – bad choices were made

All are into arrears to Satan for a sum that can never be re-paid

On the eve of atonement, there on the mountaintop I stand

In fire and fury with E’PEE in hand

Box Life

Absolute Control is an illusion and don’t you forget it

Because you have learned to navigate inside the Box you believe that you own it and can control it along with everyone inside

With all the power that you exercise you have forgotten one thing – you too are still inside a Box

And when that sudden realisation weighs you down and buries you in your own arrogance and ignorance, I will be there

For I seek not to control the contents of the Box but rather to understand it

…to comprehend its place in Time/Space, in Source Creation

In doing so, I have felt it – the Source Creation itself

It is Me and I it and Everything that ever is, ever was and ever will be

So know you this would-be Box controller, you are nothing because you are limited

believing that power rest with the ability to control all that you see, hear and feel

and in that confined mode of thought and belief, you are chained to relive a single reality over and over again until you are able to evolve beyond it

So for now, enjoy your Box Life but always keep in mind and in your being – you are nothing and will be made to understand that when your current reality fades

REALITY CHECK I

If how you view life and life events determines your reality then this reality is in need of a serious makeover. Here we have been made into clowns in a never-ending circus where the shows go on and on and the makeup and masks never come off. Pathetically, we the spectators willingly and happily continue to pay for the peanuts and the popcorn as well as for every ticket to each add-on show provided without desiring to see back stage. Should we become tired of the pomp and glitter and desire to rest or worse, to leave, we are punished beyond measure. The drone circus police ensure that no one escapes for the Ringmasters demand our attention and by their self-proclaimed status as our gods, they will have it. But there is more, much more than the lights, the glitter, the colourful balloons and the underpaid performers that mesmerize our senses. We must want to see it and understand the power that lies within each of us to turn it all off.

We initially exist without fear but the Lion-tamer makes sure we know what it means. The Bearded-lady and Monkey boy reminds us to look at ourselves and know that while it is humorous to look at the freaks, we definitely don’t want to be one of them. We dare not step outside of the created normal because there lies nothing for us but to be freaks in the show. It is the clowns job to make us laugh at what we see and not take anything seriously. subliminally, we know we don’t want to be in their ranks either for to be laughed at means we will never be taken seriously by those we don’t respect or can barely stand. The animals, chained and trained, leaves us in awe at the owners ability to tame the wild. In this too we understand that we must also play the parts that we were trained for. Should we decide otherwise, like the dancing bear that no longer wants to perform, we will disappear without a trace. There will only be few to question and mourn our disappearance but that too will fade from memory.

There in the centre circle, the Ringmaster stands as MC, hypnotically ensuring that we hang on his every word. He has learned his job well as master manipulator setting up every act so that the spectator is dazzled and sees only what is meant to be seen. For only then, can the hired Thief make his way through the blinded crowd picking every purse and pocket that is after we have paid for all that is possible. Just outside the confines of the circus, the would be owners stand in the darkness at the midnight hour, lining their pockets elevating themselves further and further from the masses or so they believe. The howling wind preceding the approaching storm is not enough to deter their site from the wealth that is to be made. The destruction that lies in its path will be all-consuming. Very little if anything will survive. The few inside the circus tent that sees through it all also understands the greatest joke outside of the performing Jesters, that to see truth is to be confined and tortured by it.

Just A Thought – Uncertainty is Certain

There is no doubt that uncertainty plagues the conscious soul. As contemplating every possible move in a chess match against an unknown opponent is a waste of both ones energy, thought and time so is the fear and anxiety that consumes regarding that which is not known to us.

It is said that the only thing that is certain is Death and Taxes however, that is a very Humanistic approach to understanding this aspect of the human condition. As we are much more than the sum total of our parts, so is everything that comprises that which surrounds us and permeates through us. Everything both in part and in its totality equates to balance throughout known and unknown creation. What we find to be “certain” to us must be off-set by that which is “uncertain”.

To be consumed by uncertainty and the accompanying fear is to ignore the fact that it is a necessity of life that must be embraced. Accepting that “what will be, will eventually be” regardless of our action or inaction enables us to live in balance with the here and now giving rise to clarity of thought and purity of action.

Just A Thought

A Prayer from the Weary Child

A world immersed in greed, envy, pettiness and turmoil

Its inhabitants suffering from delusions of grandeur and complete amnesia with connections to the past – that which binds them cohesively to the here and now

Here I sit contemplating “why” and the meaning of “what was” and “what is” against a backdrop of the noise of humanity and their devious machinations

There is no peace, there is no serenity, there is no balance

until what was lost is found again and the integrity of both who and what we truly are has been restored

Where our parents moved freely among us endeavouring to mentor in all that can be known and reveling in each infant step taken forward

Take a look round now and see how far we have devolved even with contemporary comforts and technology; it seems as though our very existence has come undone

I beg then in the name of our Father of old to grant me the tranquility of the knowledge of Ancestors past and the embodiment of His wisdom

To dwell amongst Family where the distance between Heaven and Earth are mere steps to be traversed with little effort

Reveal to me the times of Enki and of Enlil and the Heavenly Hosts that once were prevalent and abided with us on Terra Firma

Within there is no judgement, no sides to be taken but only understanding, knowledge and the wisdom of all things that are sought as a constant companion

Therefore, be not far from me, hear my plea and make haste to minister unto me
