Asian II

At moonlight’s arrival you whisper and dance gracefully upon my every thought

Alternatively divine, darkly inviting and imbued with unending sensual ferocity, the spell that is cast cannot be broken

There on the fringe of the spider’s web waiting silently, patiently to devour saintly spirit, I struggle to no avail as it only enhances your appetite and makes you want me more

In the deepest chasm of my being, I realise that I cannot resist as I have never known such force or obsession delicately devouring me

No words are expressed, no intellect implored only unyielding raw emotional desire for what is coveted by the eyes and craved by both body and soul

No light can escape this abyss of your all consuming hunger and I know that it is there that I will reside with you forever be thee flesh or spectre

So I just let go and let you feed

Roll II

This is how I roll!

Show Me How You Roll?

Do you run with the pack or the bulls or are you like a Lone Wolf always enjoying roaming your own way?

Is it necessary for you to couple because you just can’t stand the thought of being alone for the rest of your life instead of just living it?

Come on, tell me how you roll.

Are you constantly searching for comfort and the ease of saying, “I would like you to meet my partner” or do you feel totally within your element of going where you want to and doing what you will because you truly can and want to regardless of what others my think?

Have you fallen under the mind control of the masses yet having to buy the latest fashions, cars and toys just to say you have them and feel so good when you show it all off to those so-called friends who haven’t really got a clue and don’t give a damn about you?

Tell me how you Roll!

Please don’t misunderstand and listen when I say that there is nothing wrong with settling down, having a two car garage; that special someone that you truly want to be with for life and perhaps enjoying comfort and the twilight of your years with a few rug-rats along the way.

But stop and think if that is what you want because you truly want it or is it because that is what you are programmed to want, think and have?

Is that going to be how you roll?

Take time and get to know you for the person that you are and want to be before trying to fill some unforeseen void in your life with Mr or Mrs Right Now who comes complete with a bag of future regrets and a vehicle packed with what “might have beens” in the boot.

Know and love thyself first before anything, appreciating the special and unique person that you are before rolling with any “old passer-bye” that caught your eye and may be headed your way.  You will save yourself years of headaches and therapy.

So…go on and “Show Me How You Roll”!

…And I hope it’s 7/11, all the way down the line for you!

Just A Thought (on Regret & Reflection)

Regret & Reflection II

Regret derives from failing to do what you wanted to do; not acting in a manner you desired or failing to say what you meant to say when an opportunity presented itself

Regardless of whether the action was right or wrong, regret is the reflection of that which we have perceived as a missed moment in time that has now culminated in an emotional sense of loss

In my opinion, it is a total waste of emotion as the reality of “what is” must be the focus.  Reflection for the purposes of growing and learning is a more valuable use of one’s time and energy.

Therefore, waste few precious minutes in “what was” and seek to grow yourself in the here and now – “what is”.

Just Another Thought

Pentacle 2 Venus

To lose yourself in thought is not such a bad thing. Many wonders have been born of this.

To be consumed by the trappings of this man-made reality and lose your mind in it can result in unimaginable loss.  Much death and destruction has emanated from this.

Just A Thought

A Beautiful, Peaceful and Happy Future……It’s what we all dream of for ourselves and theWise II world around us at one time or another. But the question of how we get to that blessed place generally eludes us.

The formula is not that difficult really………..

To manifest that perfect FUTURE in which we all desire

We must learn how to give careful consideration to the PAST after thoughtfully putting it away

While simultaneously avoiding fucking up the PRESENT.

That may sound simplistic but somehow we still can’t seem to get it right.

Just look at the world we reside in today.  There’s is not a place or space on any part of it that doesn’t seem to be coming undone. On every continent there is agony, anguish and strife as the elite of nations selfishly fight for absolute control over absolutely everything disregarding the conflicts and wars that has brought the world to the brink of destruction time and time again.

Individually, we spend our lives in the past habitually and more often than not, painfully anchored there while essential life lessons go by without comprehension. Often we torment those currently in our lives for our past suffering when they may have been strategically placed there as a blessing to atone for sins against us or as an opportunity for growth and maturation. But frequently we ignore the godsend, sabotaging our sacred gifts. This often results in others manifesting the same grief and torment encapsulated within us thereby generating and endless cycle.

To escape this never-ending abyss we must become theoretical scholars of our own past while disconnecting from the emotion of it.  As we grow and evolve from it in a positive manner, we master the necessary skills and abilities to successfully navigate the present; circumvent similar contemporary pitfalls while methodically mastering ourselves in the process.  When we choose this academic, holistic approach to examining the past and ourselves, how can the future be anything other than bright for us individually as well as collectively?

Who Wants To Live Forever and be Dead Like Me?

Birthdays are an exercise in self-conflict. Initially we look forward to each new year that marks a point in linear time that in the grand design has absolutely no meaning. Yet to the celebrant, it represents a time when one is at the centre of creation. when all bow down to honour the most import day of the most important being.

Slowly, methodically before one realizes, that day which once meant everything to everyone within the context of our own hubris now bears the burden of that very creation upon us.  It is now a reminder that we are not the omnipotent, immortal we once believed ourselves to be.  When we once viewed our existence in terms of “forever”, we now fearfully count each precious minute of each irreplaceable day as one kneeling before the executioner coming to the horrifying realization that linear time in fact does have an ending – we have an ending.

But for a selected few, like me, there comes that special birthday when an epiphany manifests. Clarity can not be quantified and it is understood that the perception of what “life is” can never be conceptualized in the same way again. On that day, everything dies – the conditioning you have experienced since your first breath; the perception of need, of fear, of love, of existence.  Your sight, true sight, now confirms the reality of what “IS” contrary to that indoctrinated by the natural senses. There, in a crypt adorned with vines and thorns, deception lays decaying never to be unearthed again.

On that birthday – that unique, special day when the bliss of ignorance truly dies, you are born anew constituting of both a blessing and a curse. One is cursed never to feel the comfort of all that is or was ever known before. To be an outcast, lonely, forever isolated from that which was familiar, comfortable and home.  You can never return to that rapturous yet unlettered slumber. In this enlightened, quietus state one now wears wisdom as the only raiment that will ever be desired or needed.  Truth is heard without filter and seen without the aid of lenses.  It is daunting to be sure but can also be overwhelmingly euphoric.  Courage to reside in this lonely spirit world is an absolute necessity when you are “Living Forever and Dead Like Me”.

Happy Mother’s Day

Mothers Day II

by Steve Nease

Here is a day that should never go unrecognized especially to all the wonderful mothers everywhere.  Those of you who have understood how to love and nurture; support and teach; stand as an example of integrity and strength and most importantly, prepare their children to go out into what can be an unforgiving, challenging world while also remaining a constant net of safety should you fall.

This is for everyone of you exemplary mothers out there. You know who you are and how import you are to your children.  I will say this whether you realize it or not…….

Love you mum and have a Happy Mother’s Day! You are truly “Unforgettable”!

Goodbye

Goodbye I

Why is it so difficult to say goodbye? Is it because we innately sense it is “the end” of something and human beings by nature fear endings?  Logically speaking, everything that has a beginning, has an ending – stories we read, the journeys we take; the relationships we make; the life we live all end at some point , by one means or another.  The only variable is its duration.

Therefore, we should not be saddened by goodbyes but rather seek to understand that when we say “goodbye” to one thing, we are saying “hello” to another. Sometimes we can even say hello to that which we previously said goodbye to though not recommended unless some maturation has taken place.  We should never fail to forget that the past is the past for a reason – by fault or design.

Goodbye III

Charles Shulz’s “Peanuts”

So I say with a certain degree of regret, compassion and trepidation, “goodbye” to the past. In order to mature and evolve, I must be moving on.  I state courageously with understanding, enthusiasm and optimism, “Hello uncertainty, Hello unpredictability, Hello stranger”. Welcome, it’s a pleasure to meet you.

Here is a blast from the past. Some goodbyes just don’t stick.

Promise Me (a poem)

creation I

In my peaceful solitude when the air that surrounds is calm

and the once raging rivers beyond my garden’s lattice is still

Serene thoughts of You capture the fertile imagination

Beauty is the only concept that is known if not completely understood or appreciated

I behold the splendour that defines Your very existence and I am comforted beyond what can be expressed by mere words

I am defined in the moment, at this place, in this time

and You

Do You spare thoughts of me and how things were?

When all things were new and the power of creation flowed flawlessly from Your presence illuminating all the world around us

Do You think of me fondly though we have long parted and time has obscured all that we have shared?

For me the embers remain flickering ever so softly,  my only tether to that which I cannot return

If authority be Yours, and it pleases the spirit

Promise you’ll find me – in time, in space and let beauty and love of a union that once was be ours again
